Daily Safaris are led by experienced Shangaan rangers in open top land rovers offering adventurous, close-up encounters with the region’s prolific wildlife, including the Big Five. Daily bush walks are also available which alow one to discover the small hidden treasure of this exceptional region Notten’s prides itself in offering its guests a phenomenal wildlife experience.

The lodge is the epitome of natural elegance. Each private suite, with en-suite bathroom offer breathtaking views. Notten’s Bush Camp’s accommodation consists of beautifully appointed suites with open plan bedroom and en-suite bathroom. All suites have both indoor and outdoor shower facilities. All windows and sliding doors are fitted with screens and insect coils are provided. Each suite at Notten’s Bush Camp leads onto a private wooden deck with a beautiful view of the bush.Paraffin lamps and candles replace electric lighting for ambience and all the rooms are cooled with an overhead ceiling fan.Facilities are available for the re-charging of video machines and camera batteries in the safari lodge’s reception area.  A main line telephone facility is also available.

• Rates are fully inclusive of three meals, accommodation, two game drives and bush walk per day, local soft drinks, house wines and beers and one bag laundry per stay.
• Excluded is special wines, champagne and spirits, transfers, massages and items from the shop.
• We charge a 50% single supplement.
• Children 6 and over are welcome.
• Shared accommodation for children – 1 x Family Room, 1 x Triple Room.
• Nottens will do transfers to/from Skukuza, KMIA and Hoedspruit region, please inquire directly for rates.
• Children under the age of 12 years enjoy a 30% discount.

Cancellation Policy

Any booking cancelled is subject to a minimum of 25% – 100% cancellation fee, the rate depends on the room being re-let. A booking cancelled three weeks prior to guests arrival is subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

Children Policy

Children over 6 years old are welcome, unless the group is taking over the entire camp (min. 14 people), then guests of any age are welcome.

Directions

The distance to Notten’s Bush Camp by road from Johannesburg is approx. 480 km’s. The scenic route descends from the Highveld to the Lowveld with spectacular views of the Drakensberg Mountains in the distance.Taking either the N4 or the N12 from Johannesburg one travels past Witbank to Nelspruit, from there the R40 takes one to White River and then on to Hazyview. At Hazyview, take the R536 towards the Paul Kruger Gate and Skukuza. After 37 km you will see the Notten’s Bush Camp sign. Turn left onto a dirt road.
